Taxi's & Firewood

Taxi meter being tested for accuracy on a dynamometer. Taxi's must now give a printed receipt. This particular taxi was referred to as the "bondo express".  That is what was  basically holding the car together.  Fortunately this car has been removed from service.

When buying Firewood....

A cord of fire wood is 128 cubic feet when well stacked. You should get a receipt from the seller with name, address and phone number. The seller may not use terms such as truck load, rick. face cord or pile. If you feel that you didn't receive full measure, don't use any of the wood, call 625-6611 and we will investigate.

The City of Spokane does a safety inspection on the vehicles once each year. Some of these car are pretty well beat within 3 months after the inspection. Take a good look at the outside and interior of the car, that will give you some indication how well it is maintained mechanically.
